Not Really Sure What I Will Like, To Tell The Truth It Scares Me A Little Bit As The Site That Is Currently Here Now Works So Well Now. It Seems Every-time Something Changes It Does Not Work As Well As It Used To Work, I Have Been Coming Here Since Early 2000 And Am Used To a The Current Site. It Would Be Nice If They Could Maybe Put Up A Test Site So We Could Play Around With It A Little Bit Before The Whole Thing Goes Live. Until It Goes Live, I Can't Really Comment On It. If It Does All That I Have Heard It Will Do, It Is Already The Best Site With The Best Girls Out There, Then The Site Will Match The Girls On It As Well, First Class

Hello everyone. I've been away for a while, so I had no idea that there was a new version coming. I think that the changes could be brilliant for SC as a whole, and really good for the Charms and fans alike. One thing I am hoping for is the opportunity to download picture sets in a zipfile, as long as you're a member of that particular charm's site. It would make it easier than having to load each picture and download one at a time. But whatever the changes are, I wish SC all the best for the future, as I've had almost 8 years of pleasure from it so far.

Hidey ho, just wanted to know if the site design change is ever going to launch? Saw this thread way back when and thought maybe it was taking some extra time to work out the kinks, but seems it's been rather a long time since it was announced and it still hasn't debuted. Possibly the new design was more kinky than hoped? No pun intended. Well, yeah, it was. Thanks!

Lol, the new site will be going up (the gents side is already there) but some minor "kinks" are still being set straight and therefore the delay. Haven't heard a date yet but sure I'm someone will come and announce it when it's ready to go. Thank you for being so patient though.

I'm sorry but I really have to agree here. SC is VERY dominated by VERY big, many grossly fat, women now. If you encouraged more slim, attractive women there would be more varity which would mean more customers. I know the mods will deny this but it's true.

Part of the awesomeness of SC is that you can get a variety of females! Any "type" that you want... we've got. What's so wrong with having charms that simply don't appeal to you? With over 600 charms... of course you aren't going to like them all. Well guess what. DON'T GO TO THEIR PAGE. If you have even five charms you like, stick with those five. And if you want them to keep posting updates, buy a membership. The more you jack off to their free pics only, the less incentive they have to stay.
And "leagues"? WTF? There are no leagues here.
It's unfortunate that this board is so "scripted" and biased. Look around at the women at SC now - a HUGE majority of them are extremely overweight and that IS the truth. Call them bbw's or whatever you want - the bottom line is that MOST of what SC is offering now is fat women plain and simple, and most of the better looking slim ones HAVE left. You can spin it any way you want, this is what's happened.

Southern Charms is unique because it caters to all tastes. Not everyone is looking to see "perfect" or "beautiful" models, there's plenty of that elsewhere. Every model on here is perfect and beautiful in their own way. Not everyone is to everyone's taste, I know there are some on SC that I wouldn't join because they're not to my taste, but for a variety of body shapes and sizes, age groups and content types, you will find nothing that comes close.
And I'm not being paid to say this, I'm a fan and a friend to many of the ladies on here.

eha, I totally agree... besides, I'd like to see either of them put themselves out there and see what people say about them! Just out of curiosity though Serena... why do you waist your time dignifying any of their comments with a response? The same goes for Billyf... It's clear that your a better person, and the only thing that will happen when you argue with them, they will drag you down to their low life level and beat you with experience.
On a seperate note, can we bring back the original topic of what the title of this tread is, any updates on the new SC design?

I was wondering about this upgrade. The original post was in Oct 2013...here we are in March of 2015 and it still hasn't happened. Does anyone know what happened?

Still being worked on. Converting 800+ current sites over to the system takes time and lots of testing.

Updates are great but honestly I'm cool just knowing that they are hard at work making this update possible. Like Beau said, converting 800 or more individual charms sites to a completely new system takes time. I'm sure they would like for it to go a lot faster than it is but I have faith that they are going as fast as they can. I would rather them take a long time and get it right than to bust something out as quickly as possible that's full of bugs and glitches.

Please understand I am not upset. I am just curious. I had been looking around for updates on this project and wasn't finding much info. I had just assumed it didn't work out so it got shelved. I don't envy the webmasters who have the job of converting this site. Keep up the good work.

I like the favorites feature on this site, but it's pretty useless when a girl who goes too long to update not only gets moved to the inactive page, but gets removed from the favorites.

Being a IT guy myself im pretty sure the new CMS will be a pleasant update from the old HTML site but at this rate its also going to be pretty antiquated by the time it goes public.. I cant critique to much though since i have no idea how the conversion is being implemented or if a converter was even written in the first place (possibly a manual conversion?).. Im hoping the testing is for new features.. 24/7 updates will be a nice bonus but I wonder how updates will be policed by staff before going live now? But i guess that out of the realm of this discussion.. I recall a different era when there was zero tolerance for a lot of things like the tinest hint of muff or even the idea that the term Pussy was against the rules in the free areas.. Todays SC is quite a change from the olden days. If i recall the last cosmetic change was simply a color change from the old Black BG to the Current shade of purple..
