This is a trip u can do for under $1,000. Sounds like something I may try next year. I am doing many things as a 50 year old next year. This sounds like a great peaceful option.

I think the 50's are a great time to start traveling. We are young enough to enjoy just about any kind of trip and we are still working and making money to support the hobby!
