Inactive is just what it says. Inactive. Why should a charm that has not updated
her site in months to even years, be treated the same way as charms that
updates every week. I am sure with the 600 plus charms that are active there are
many you will adore just as much or even more if there given a chance. Remember
most charms that update regularly will reply to emails and interact with fans and members.
Like me. I am here over 11 years and I still update 2 and 3 sets a week. Give us
current updating charms some attention, we deserve it.
Hugs, Alexus Lin

SC just doesn't allow the old content to be posted and advertised as new content. But it can be reused and put back on her site as a bonus issue for members only :-)

I am not saying post that content as new. What I am saying is put the site back as it was when the person left, but make the content a previously posted in an older version site. Then going forward new content would be posted. I'm looking at this as a consumer who spends his dollars. From a charm perspective this is not fair as far as competition for subscribers, it be good for the fans.

I am REALLY happy about this site change! Though, I'd be happier if the rule "if you don't update at least twice a month your site will be removed" was actually used. But this is better than nothing. <3

Thank You, When I saw some guys complaining about charms retiring, leaving and that
were moved to inactive. With over 600 hotties adding new content each week,
I know there are tons that will tickle your fancy. Just take a look, you know the saying
when you least expect it, It Happens. Naughty grin... Hugs

I saw this happen only once. Cici Ryder, which BTW was one of my favorites, got her page removed, then when she came back, all the previous content were put back online like she never left the site.. I Hope she comes back one day.

They were not updating their sites which was not fair to the other Charms who do update regularly as well as to the fans who keep checking for new updates. Therefore, we moved them to a new page labeled as "Inactive." The link is on the main page to the right of the regular sites. All Charms on the Inactive Page can be moved back to their regular page just by sending in a new update. If any of you have a favorite amongst the Inactive Charms, please drop them a note and encourage them to update to be moved back among the active Charms.

after reading this i understand exactly what happened, but if you remove them from sc1,2,3 ect.. and creat a new page "inactive" thats going to catch the customers eyes. So more customers are going to be drawn to it wondering .. "hmm.. whats this new page".. it just seems to me they are being "featured" for not updateing they're page.. The original rule seemed to make much more sense to me.. you update 2 times every 30 days or your sites removed.. It gives us charms/gents that actually do update multiple times a month a better chance of gaining cliental. Yes I know this sounds mean of me, and I hate to see any charm/gent go, but this is business, we are all here to make money. This is a job, and like any job if you dont do whats required your fired and a better canidate is hired.. Im just sayin...

I think of it as actually more like a store than a job (speaking as a customer). I'm happy that they did this. That way, if someone decides they want to join Violet's site (for example) for a month, it's worth it, thanks to the sheer volume, value and great quality of the archived issues. There are many "inactives" with similar situations.

I'd love to see some long retired Charms' sets made available, provided that they'd agree to it.

It always sucks when favorites just disappear.

BTW, Ariah, you are definitely one of my favorites.

Don't forget that many charms ask for there sites to be removed for personal reasons
and no longer want there photos or there vids to appear at all.

Charms are allowed to use content from their old sites when they come back. They just can't use it as "NEW" updates. But they can post it as BONUS updates. They can post as many bonus updates as they want. :-)

Tell that to Atiyana, who is posting only stuff from her old times. I Will not pay twice for the same old stuff.

I am having this checked.

I as a fan like that the inactive charms was moved to there own page, I have also noticed that maybe this has been a wake up call for some of them as they have started updating again, most of the ones though on the inactive page don't even have working e mail addresses anymore, they have moved on and as fans we need to move on as well. I would much rather spend my time and money with the ones that do update, reply to e mail, and spend time with us fans on this board, these charms understand custermer relations.

Hook,
Just my two cents? Personally, I enjoy spending time on this board with you guys, and I'm not doing it for customer relations......I REALLY enjoy goofing off with you guys here. And for the charms that don't frequent our forum? They don't know how much fun they're missing out on! :-)

I used the wrong words, I should have said interact with the fans, my bad, this board is really a lot of fun and you are right about that, they don't know what they are missing

Chiming in here that I think the inactive section is a great idea, sort of a "get 'em before they're gone" thing.

Just To Echo What Hook And Others Have Said, Its Reall ImportantTo Me Add A Fan To Be Able To Interact With Charms. I Will ADmit To Joining A charm That I Wasnt Overly Into Her Pictures But Was Really Cool To Talk To , I've HoundTheir Sites For A Bit To Say Thanks, And Have Not Joins Charms That Either Didn't Write Me Back Or Were Rude RegardLess Of Their Pictures.

I think after all the years I am a charm, many of you know I interact with fans
and members and have for the past 11 and a half years. It is fun and getting
to know people better, is something I enjoy. I am on Mini chat, Chat room and also
yahoo and msn. I am a chatter from way back and still love it.

June 1st, and I see well over 50 active Charms that haven't updated in May. I'm very much interested in seeing if 1 in particular gets moved from SC3 to inactive. Better get that update in! :-)

Mick brings up a good point... is this a one shot deal, or something SC keeps up with from time to time. I hope so, as it really doesn't do much good to just have a once in a while, when the whole point is to get charms to update at least 2-3 times a month

and update. Also dedicate time to there fans and members.
Hugs and kisses all.
almost 13 full years and I still update on a regular basis.
New vids should be up any day now too.

First off, I would like to thank SC for not deleting my account if I didn't update twice a month. Had a pretty serious 2 years, and sadly let down a lot of my fans and friends here on SC without any (consistent) updates. I love the fact there's inactive area. It puts those that update regularly more on display, and warns fans of those that don't. It is so much better then just removing their site altogether.

With that being said, I am happy to be back. Catching up on all the new things I missed over the couple of years, has kept me busy all afternoon.

Goodnight you wonderful sexy people! :YMCOWBOY:

I have to agree with Mercedes. I'm so glad my site hasnt been deleted. After Nov I will be back to updating regularly but i've had a rough spell. I know it worried me for a while but once the inactive page came up and I seen my site wasnt going to be pulled it made other things in my life easier. So in a few weeks I will be back to full swing for my customers and looking for suggestions.

Hugss & Kisses
