Photo Contest - Calling all charms

I'm thinking of putting together some type of photo contest here on the fan forum.
There would be a prize, and I don't have all the specifics figured out yet. But I'm asking for any charms that would be interested in participating to please post here.

My idea would be for a "theme" photo <theme to be determined>
And you would post the photo here, where fans would vote via a poll.

The contest would run for 30 days.

And yes, there would be some type of prize.

I never win anything but I'm game for taking part!
To encourage Fans to vote, perhaps the Fans that voted for the winning Charm can be entered into a prize draw to win a 3 month membership to that Charm's page??

Just a thought to try get the Fans to have an incentive to get involved too.

I'm hoping to get at least 10 charms interested. In the meantime I'll work out the details.

The prize would come from me, not from William. Not sure what it will be, but it is guaranteed. Alot of you know me and know that I am trustworthy and do what I say.


I think giving a free membership to the winner of the "fan" who votes prize is a great idea. We could pick the winner by a names in the hat drawing type of thing. MS Frolicker and I did something like that here a few years ago and it worked out really well. It was fun for us and fun for the fans.


I would not particpate in the contest.
And I would offer the free membership to my site to the "winning" voting fan.

AND...….how about if we advertise that the FANS could voluntarily send the contestants "tips" to show their appreciation?
Dollar amount would be up to them, AS WOULD the act of voluntarily tipping you.
I can't guarantee that you would receive any tips from fans,
But I can guarantee that YOU WOULD receive the prize amount tip from me.

I think that is a great idea. Encourage fans to go to our pages and check things out as well.

I would be interested too. But I would rather like the idea if someone can vote only once or a weekly vote and not daily. So we could get new fans for the site.

From a fan's point of view, one fan gets only one vote... that way you don't get people stuffing the ballot box, and also a few days between the posting and the contest ending.

I will set up the voting poll, 1 vote period.
Once I post the details, The start date will be a few days in the future so that everyone can have a chance to get their photo selected.
