Wow, I see SC went from 942 to 759 Charms today. I should've known something was up when I saw a lot of longtime missing Charms post updates the past couple days. Back when Charms were dropped after 1+ months of no activity, I joined many a site if I thought it was coming down soon. It'd be cool if SC gave us a heads-up, maybe on here, before a big purge, like a week's notice or so... I think you missed out on some last minute sales.

Just my $.02, keep up the great work!

I'm just surprised that Celeste and Adina - neither of whom have updated since early 2011 - are still there.

Angel hasn't updated since 2010, but as hot as she is, I'm sure she is still bringing in $. If you can still turn a profit over the cost of maintaining the site, I wouldn't pull it either.

I'm kind of glad. It might help the sales of the other girls who are actually working. I know a lot of charms I've been talking to on Facebook have been really sad and concerned that their sales have been down the last couple of months.

Though it is sad to see sites go, it's not like the charms were really there themselves anymore anyway.

No doubt. When there are so many to choose from, it takes a bit of effort to check them all out & see which ones you would want to join the most. I think it's fun to do lol, but it does take time.

The Update Preview section is more helpful than the View All section, because you can see who updates constantly and who doesn't.

True. Though if you stumble on a girl randomly (highlighted on the front page, etc) you should always check out the dates of the last three photo sets uploaded. That is usually pretty helpful.

I'm one of those who is more interested in total content than update frequency, so it takes a bit longer to see number of sets. After all these years though, I pretty much know where everyone stands, still so many many more to explore lol.

It's true that content is the most important. I was just saying the last three updated dates are a great tool for people who were worried about how often a charm updates, which is what I thought we were talking about.

No, I'm the one that should've been more clear haha! I don't use the Daily Update page too much, I look at the Charm site to see how many updates there are, no other way to get that info. And of course I look at the 3 most recent free pic sets, usually more if I've had my eye on someone for awhile. It can be tough to decide who to join, so many hot women... so a tie-breaker for me is number of updates. All else being equal, I would join someone with 200 sets and never updates over someone with 100 sets and updates 3x a week. That's just me though.

In a way it's good to purge. I've "joined" a few Charms only to have the updates stop shortly after. It's frustrating. So many to choose from and then to discover you really don't get to enjoy your choice.

I think that's why memberships grow the more updates you put up. Once you hit a high enough number of updates, the membership is worth it even if the Charm stops updating for a bit.

But isn't that kind of circular logic? By that reasoning, EVERY old Charm since the beginning would keep making money if their sites were still up. If a girl isn't updating, why is her site still around?
