NEW NETWORKING IDEA: Southern Charms Discord Chat

Have you guys ever heard of Discord? It's a site a lot of gamers use but there are other uses as well (music, sports, etc). Basically it's a big chat room where you can make different topics and everyone chats in real time. You can send messages, post pics, share links, gifs...theres a voice chat channel so you can all basically be on a conference call if you want. I just created an Unofficial Southern Charms server for you guys to try it. Its not accessible to the general public, you have to have an invite to join, period. I would say for right now, maybe making it available to charms only. You guys can chat, network...see what you think. There is a desktop app for computer users and also a mobile app for you phone happy people.

If you guys like it you could post the invite link here or make it available to paying fans only...whatever you think is best. I just transfer the ownership to whoever wants to be in charge of that...or I would suggest since this is a public forum that anyone can sign up for, you leave the Discord open to forum users. Leave the content the same as it is now (maybe sharing a pic from an update, limited freebies) and just use it as a way to connect people and get your names out there.

There are too many hard working people here that put time into updates and making content for you guys not to be BOOMING. There should be 10 charms signing up a day and 100 fans. I'm not in the financial position to support but I've been following this long enough to know you guys are active and you work hard.

I have heard of discord. I am a gamer sometimes but my husband uses it everyday. We have used both computer and phone versions. He prefers the computer and I would probably prefer the phone app.
It's not a bad idea, but I think figuring out the paying portion of it could be tricky.

I really really like this platform. Y'all need to sign up and try it out. It is just the few of us charms at the moment trying it out but it is great and easy to use. I use it on my phone.
