Summer love, hate or both?

Its summer bugs are out. Fires are going for roasting marshmallows (having smores), the sun is high. I for one have a love hate relationship with summer mostly due to the mosquitoes and chiggers. I step outside instantly bite. But I love the outdoors, fishing and just being outside. (Ps if there is snow on ground not my thing I'm inside at that point)

So what's your relationship with summer?

Like yourself oh Busty blue eyed one, mine is a love hate relationship with summer as well. The perks do outweigh the drawbacks. Girls in shorts, girls in bikinis, nude sunbathing just to mention a few. The fishing, sports, and just relaxing by the Creekside or lake when camping. Yet the heat, the humidity, and the noise....ugh


Grew up a winter person, but now love Autumn, and all it has to offer, a unique cornucopia of scents, aromas, tastes and crisp air, that fill the senses. Autumn is like a full voluptuous mature woman, who knows what she wants, and how to get it. No other season is quite like it.

I simply love summer! Tan lines or no tan lines. Playing naked in the sand and water. Being nude outside.

I previously lived 500 miles north of where I live now and my job kept me outside quite often. The night it hit -19F and I had to be out at midnight I realized that my time in that weather would be coming to a rapid end. I did several snow sets but I think my facial expression shows how stinkin’ cold I was.

So I say again. I love summer.

I have a love hate relationship with summer. My allergies hate it, but if I take enough allergy meds I am ok. Otherwise I am outside all the time. I am hiking, swimming, going to amusement parks, etc. Anything outside.

Understand that. The bugs love me so i have to start editing my lags more and more. i scratch at night not knowing and wake up with nasty scabs I love summer besides that.

Oh yeah they love me too. But I go through a TON of bug spray. And I don't bother editing. Because I am lazy.

I love, love, love the summer... I hate living in Germany during the summer. I live an area that gets very hot at times & Germans are very environmentally friendly & don't use air conditioning much. They also don't believe in recirculating old air... It kills me at times

I hate summer. Too hot, Too humid. Too many bugs.

I love spring with all the flowers blooming and baby animals running around. I also love fall. I love hiking in the crunchy leaves and drinking cider.

I love summer. I spend most of my time outside. Sadly its done nothing but rain and storm here so far. I love to garden. I like fall better but summer is my second favorite.

What I love about summer: early chilly mornings -perfect for photo shootings, my flowers in the garden, I can walk naked outdoors.
What I hate about summer: mosquitoes, yes! then having to trim down excessive vegetation, then mosquitoes again, then other bugs.
But I love summer more than hating it.

I am a Summer person myself. Even though its 90 degrees outside right now and I sweat like crazy. I want to live in the West so I never have to deal with cold weather LOL

I hate Summer's in Texas. TOO Hot!!! And I grew up in the Mojave Desert in California which were way more tolerable than Texas Summers.
I hate the mosquitos, the wasps and bees, the bugs! Yuck!

I love summer. Can do without mosquitoes for sure. Our summer has been rain a lot. Hoping for much better days.
