Due to the virus? I have a wedding in Florida and a trip to Thailand NEXT WEEK!! Yikes!!

As per your travel plans. Doubtful Thailand will be allowing flights in soon. News from Bangkok yesterday said 11 new cases this week 70 in total. Official Thailand news is saying the first Thai person infected was infected by a Hong Kong tourist. So they will no doubt be shutting all tourism soon. Last week they did announce travel restrictions on peoples from 6 countries, including being quarantined upon arrival. That was announced on CNBC news...That might spread to other nations including the US by next week. I would seriously keep abreast of the details there..

I have a conference next week here in PA. hasn't been canceled as of yet. have a trip to Greenland via the UK and Denmark set in May, and while still on that looks like it will be canceled. Better safe that sorry.... Some real bad news came out today. The quarantining has been for two weeks, but news from China in a medical journal has stated that the average time has been 2 weeks of infection( where you can infect another), some have been infectious as short as 8 days, but some have been infectious for as long as 37 days. Which as a doctor told me, that could mean an increase of quarantine from 2 weeks to maybe 4 or 5.

And I have "Underlying conditions" that tend to make the outcomes "poor".
I'm definitely doing the whole keeping away from people thing for awhile.
Which means a lot of Nice private time together for my husband and me

Please be safe and take advantage of quality private time with your husband. Take advantage of the stores that will shop for you and drop it at your door. Found out that being diabetic is an underlying condition as well. So I have to be careful. One has to be careful and pay attention to what they are doing. I did my errands earlier, and stopped for a burger as a fast food joint...Not the wisest thing under the circumstances I now realize.

My sister manages a retail store. They have been told to not stand closer than three feet to each other and the customers. To wipe down the counters every half hour, and wash their hands as often as needed....

I don't know why I am just seeing this but yeah since the last time I was here I didn't make it to Thailand or India.lol I did make it to the wedding in Florida and I was one of those on the beach chasing COVID but never caught it thankfully. I came back to Las Vegas after the wedding since the world started closing.

Yeah. i didnt go see mom ad dad, my mom didnt come here, my husband canceled 2 travels also.

travel? yes I remember travel, not been able to travel at all but apparently they wont be arresting us as of this week. however for visiting close family as of this week, so long as its 6 people or less. Holidays? no sadly not, weddings? nope we dont have them anymore here.

yes its been nothing short of a police state here since lockdown started, only permitted to go out for a walk once a day, apart from Thursdays at 8pm when all citizens have a mandatory order to stand in their front door and clap for the NHS or get reported by your neighbours. This country is so pathetic sometimes. I will not mention what just went down in London or Bristol, laws for me and not for thee

I have had to cancel 4 trips for this summer. It's been the hardest part for me. I always look forward to traveling in the summer. Visiting friends or family and getting out of the summer heat. I did a road trip to Vegas after the 4th of July and it was crazy to see the strip not packed. The center of the strip was probably the busiest but otherwise it was almost like a ghost town.
