Re: who needs their hair and nails done~
I am missing stopping for beer when I am out on my motorcycle. No hopping into bars for a cold one after a long ride. The nails and hair I have handled. I do most of my own nail work and I do a subscription service for the hair color. Most of my beauty regimen is DIY. I also miss going to get massages and trips to the gym. But I cannot complain that I am feeling healthy- gotta stay that way! Here's to safely getting through this!

Re: who needs their hair and nails done~
I live just a few city blocks from my grandkids, but can't hug them. I miss having my 4 year old grandson sitting on my lap, or both of us sitting on the floor together and playing silly made up "transformer" games with his toys...…
I'll miss seeing my granddaughter graduate from high school...…..she'll miss it too.
I see my neighbors when I go out for walks, but can't get close to them. It's "Hi, howya doin?" from a distance...….
My father is institutionalized with alzheimers in a nursing home...….I miss seeing him. Visits from anyone are banned.
I miss squeezing a tomato in the grocery store.....hell, I miss just GOING into a grocery store. Everything I order is online now.
I miss normal days, without the anxiety of "the virus"...……
I miss how things were, and wonder if they'll ever be like that again.

I am definitely needing my hair cut and am trying to resist just doing it myself. I did trim my roommate’s off of his ears as it was driving him nuts lol.

Re: who needs their hair and nails done~
uGGG! Yess! I wish I could get my nails done! I don't remember the last I let them grown out like this!
Other things that I've been missing:
My home has become an oasis. Things are so tense when I do have to go out that I'm thankful to be able to come home and stay put. I'm really thankful that I'm already used to working from home, and also grateful that the weather has been beautiful and I've been able to soak up a little sunshine and fresh air from the safety and solitude of my own back yard. That helps a lot.
But I still think about waffles, crisp bacon (that I didn't have to make) and diner coffee at least once a day!
Other things that I've been missing:
- Going out to breakfast. Ordering take-out breakfast just isn't the same.
- Going to the gym (not that I went often, but the environment and equipment was nice when I needed to blow off steam)
- Feeling normal when I run out for "essentials." Everything is so weird and tense in the grocery store now. I miss friendly conversations with my neighbors and the workers there when everyone wasn't so scared and stressed out.

I'm in need of a little pampering. Pedi, mani and wax are the first things on my list.

We live so far out in the "boonies" that I have always done my own nails, and my husband does my hair when the gray pops out! I do miss a really good HUG though! My daughter and I are both 'huggers', and it is such a muscle memory thing that we physically have to stop each other from moving forward when we happen to see a friend in the store!

Praying with confidence that all good things will open up to become even better,
and that all crazy scary nonsense will close down for good.
Here in Hungary, I went to the coiffeur mid April, normal just with optional mask. I didn't take that option, but my hairdresser did.
Even the gyms are open. And even if there are formal bans on weekends, to avoid crowding, gyms will get a 'special allowance' to stay open.
Just practicing social distancing is enough, without the need to close everything up.
Well, the pubs had been closed, till late Monday.
Buying groceries requires you wear a mask. But a scarf to show is good enough. You just mimic the scarf gesture and the cashier will accept your card.
Well, in bigger cities they may be more severe, dunno, but out in the plains, in towns and villages, it's okay.
