Text for Updates

I went about a month or more without doing text for my updates and it seems like that might have been slightly detrimental. I'm not sure though. When I do them, I try to build a mini-story for the photos to pique the interest of the viewers. I definitely find myself wishing there were more font choices as I like to rotate them out in my updates. What do you think as I'd love to know?

From a sister charm's point of view:
I always do text. Sometimes the story is longer and xxx rated, sometimes it's playful, sometimes it's just a few teasing lines.....but I always have and always will add text to my updates. Personally, I think it adds to the photos. Whether you are letting the guys know how you felt, or what you were doing, or the story behind the photos.....I think it's something most want to read. And for those who just want to get to the photos? They can......since reading the tet isn't a prerequisite for viewing the pics

I created a poll on here awhile ago. And I seem to remember that text was something the guys liked.

I used to always add text to my updates. Then life happened. Sometimes I get lazy or don't have a story to tell others I just don't have time to type it out. May have to start again since guys like it. IT is more personal that way as well.

That is a good point. I took the time to write text for my updates, but I did not think any one was reading it so I stopped but if it is what men want how can I not write a little sultry story for them

I agree with the Sultry one, added text, a little backstory to the set, what made you think of it, how did you feel shooting it, what was your mood those types of things to me add to the set. Did the items you were wearing make you feel sexy or sensual, did the setting turn you on? Two charms had recent updates with the same mountain background. Some text, but I would have loved to have know where that was, how the setting put you in the mood for the shoot. One did mention what she was wearing, not asking for a novel, but just a few lines to add to the scene. Just my opinion

I always do text, but I keep it short and sweet. Inviting them to take off my clothes, or climb in bed with me. I usually receive fantasies from them after and it is great. Start them out and like all their mind goes exactly where they want them to go.

I've stopped doing text. I honestly wasn't sure if anyone reads it and I am more concerned with getting the photos up since life has been insane the last 6 plus months. I dunno if it affects sales or not because I took some time off from regular updates

I enjoy reading text with updates, even if it is a couple paragraphs. It adds a personal touch and sets the stage IMO. It also reminds the reader (particularly newbies) how much went into the session and why it is something you enjoy - not only for the readers but for yourself. This is just my opinion, though.

P.S. I appreciate all updates, including ones w/o text. I am just saying why myself and probably others enjoy some text with an update. Thank you for all your hard work.

Heck I barley have enough time to keep up with posting 2 or 3 sets a week much less write a store. My main career takes up 6a to 6p Mon - Friday, 3 boys takes up the rest, one of those being my husband!

I try to add a clip note every now and then.

Girl, I am in the same boat. Not as many boys. Just one and my husband. But we are also homeschooling on top of everything.

Much respect. Homeschooling is tougher than many think. In some ways it is easier, in some ways much harder. Trying to balance the school-home life under the same roof is difficult at times. Thank you for the time you put into SC, Wendy.

I have always done text with my updates but have skipped a couple. i have noticed that when i haven't done text, my sales lag on those updates. Sometimes it is hard to come up with text, but even if it doesn't makes sense it stills makes the update more desirable.
