Dam, you are correct! I didn't realize Halloween is in like 3 days!!! lol But seriously, after that it is Thanksgiving, Christmas and NYE!! Where did this year go?!

For Christmas we decorate on Black Friday. I don't go shopping because I can't deal with crowds. So I stay home and decorate. I take everything down shortly after Christmas. For Halloween I started putting up on Oct 1st. But I start making my decorations way in advance,

I don't stress about it, in Germany we usually decorate for the first Advent. That is this year on 28 November
and about a week before Christmas the Christmas tree is put up and decorated.

Here stores already have Christmas and out of Halloween decorations. I normally start after Thanksgiving for Christmas decorations. This year I already bought some things though.

Let's face it, when you have a family Christmas is no longer a vacation, it's pure stress.
I've known this for decades and you always resolve to do things differently next year.
But nothing changes, unless you have a new husband like me who slows you down and tells you: stop breaking yourself, now it's your kids turn.
He's right or you really go on vacation, far away....
