This is our first summer in Texas and it is hot. I've been out of TX for 20years and my hubby never lived in TX so for him it is a huge adjustment.

I fully agree, been way to hot for way to long now here in Texas (the reason why most of my updates and videos have been from inside as of late, even as much as I love the outdoor ones). I've gotten maybe 3 or 4 cucumbers zero zucchini, and 3 tiny yellow squash from my garden so far this year...unfortunately, I think its close to being lost

Feeling blessed reading all of your stories. Although it's hot here in Florida, everything is a/c, I don' t have a garden to worry about, I can sit outside in the evening and enjoy a breeze off the Gulf which is 5 minutes away. I do own a small piece of property in El Paso, never been there. Anyone live near there?

I'm happy it's cooling down but needs to do so a little more, and soon, before I can enjoy it again, the extreme heat and my medications do not play nice together and I hate being cooped up inside
