Summer is almost over..
Does anyone one here have exciting adventures to talk about past, present, future? I am hoping to travel at least once before summer ends!:)

Here in the UK our "summer" has been pants. Normally June/July is T shirts and BBQ's. Not this year. We hope August/September might actually give us some sunshine...

I was scuba & nitrox certified this summer! I already have 6 logged dives! So funny because 2 years ago I said I'd never do it! My summers normally consist of kayaking, snorkeling, camping, beach trips, and springs trips. Winter and fall are for more camping and kayaking, but also fossil hunting because water levels are low.

Re: Summer is almost over
Summer here in Spain has been horrible.
We have had several heat waves one after another, without a break, with highs of 118 F on many days. The worst thing has been that at night they did not go below 86 F. It has been very difficult to sleep on those hot nights.

Re: Summer is almost over
With October around the corner I am personally not looking forward to earlier darkness and the change in temperature, as little as it may be in comparison to other areas. Summer is my favorite time of year and I will be sad when it goes by.

Our (UK) September turned out not too bad. We are looking at some good sunshine for the first week of October... Makes up - a bit - for the crap summer we have had...

Congratulations! Hopefully you’ve been able to do even more scuba diving since getting certified. It’d be really cool to see some photos or videos from your dives posted on your site sometime.rumersc4 wrote:I was scuba & nitrox certified this summer! I already have 6 logged dives!
