Key party

In the 50s and 60s when swinging first started there were “key” parties where everyone would hangout and have a few drinks. The guys would drink but not the wives. At 11 pm the ladies would pick a set of car lays from a bowl and take that car and the car owner home with them to fuck. In the morning the guy would take his car home. Sounds fun! Who wants to throw a key party?

I have always wondered how that would actually work out logistically. Did all of them not have kids at home? We either get a hotel room with friends or someone is empty nesters. I like the key part of it but I'd rather play where the party is and go home with my hubby at the end of the night.
