We should regulate how this is going to work out. Lists and lists and LISTS of names is too much to handle all at once and we'll never get anywhere.

First lets pick which catigory (ONE catigory) we're going to vote on and set a time limit. Then we can each pick three people to throw into the ring and who ever has their name most at the end wins.

I liked the idea of best male. Let's just say the best male who is CURRENTLY on SC or SG in any way. Anyone against this?

Some rule ideas:
you have to have 100 update to enter for a award so the list isn't that big.
If you haven't updated in three months or more you can't win a award. (unless of a family or health issue)

The easiest way to run each category is to do it as a poll. One poll for girl nominations for a given category to narrow down the choices, then a second with those nominations to see who the final winner for that category is. Also make one master thread where results are listed, discussed and the original polls/threads are linked to so that we can keep track all this as it progresses.

The "Poll" tab when you start a new thread has two key options - number of choices and number of days. If we want to find 3 girls to compete in a category, set number of choices to 3. To limit it to a certain amount of time, set Time Limit to how many days the poll is open for. Also, you can only have up to 10 choices per poll so a list of 30 names is too much to deal with.

Also, not every girl is on the boards - some not at all, some posted once or twice when the boards were set up and haven't been back. Is there some way to mass-email all the Charms to let them know what's going on and either get more involved or "opt out" if they don't want to participate?
