I don't get sick often, almost never, but I have been SO sick for a week now. I know it's not COVID because I took that nasty test (I HATE things being stuck in my nose!) but I'm fairly certain this is not the common cold. Must be the flu. At least two of my neighbors are sick, too. I hear them coughing Please send me all your healing vibes and positivity! I'm so tired of feeling like crap!

Sending you well wishes. I caught a cold on October 12, and it turned into bronchitis. I'm almost over it, finally. After four doctor visits, two rounds of steroids and two rounds of antibiotics and three bottles of cough medicine. I slept alot too. My throat hurt for a short time, but I was so exhausted I couldn't believe it.
Today is almost one month since I got my cold. And like you, it wasn't covid. Mine wasn't the flu either. I never had a fever and I did have a flu shot.

Flue/Colds seem to have worse symptoms than before COVID, either way we will have to wait 30 years before we get told anything but there is probably a connection, well either SARS-CoV2 or the attempts to stop it. Drink lots of liquids, eat what your body tells you to and stay away from other people. nothing on Netflix worth watching but a few good audiobooks out!
