Halloween? What do you do to celebrate?

I love Halloween. I live in the boonies so don't get kids at home. We go into the city and help out with a charity haunted house, and yes we do full on terror when we can. Even when I was young, it was always about the dressing up as scary as possible much more than the candy.
Afterwards we head back home and build the traditional Samhain bonfire.

We take the kids to my mom's neighborhood to go trick or treating ... better candy.

As for our adult celebration, we always attend a swinger party and the Halloween swinger parties are the best ones of the year. I am still trying to figure out my costume. I think I narrowed it down to 2. Either purchasing a candy buttons costume sorta like one Katy Perry would where. If I do that, I will get iron on decals and have "EAT ME" written on my ass. My 2nd idea is more homemade. Making a dress out of a white trash bag and accessorizing with money ... money boa, money shoes - white trash with money.

A bonfire or a haunted house sounds like so much fun! Maybe I will look into something like that this year. BEST. HOLIDAY. EVER.

Greatest costume I ever saw - guy painted his face pink, put on a black afro wig and wore a t-shirt that said "You are what you eat."

I wish I could get trick or treaters at my house, and I wish even more I could make a haunted house! That would be so much fun. My boyfriend used to work at a haunted house in Six Flags, California, which is totally cool.

I do three things every Halloween. First, there is a big, sexy October party for a local BDSM group that I work. It's fun and sexy, plus I get to help everyone have a good time by being on staff. <3
Then, I do a local production of the Rocky Horror Picture Show shadow cast in my area. I've been the director for many years now, and it's my favorite time of the year.
After that, on Halloween day/night, there is a BIG party all of my friends throw so I attend that.

This means three different costumes a year though! Haha. <3

My parents have a huge barn out back and we've done a haunted house in it since like 1988. Don't know if I will be doing any costume parties this year but I will definitely do some costume updates.

Halloween is fun for me! I combine it with my birthday, since my birthday is on the 22nd, and the Halloween parties are the weekend before, so it's all close together. Last year, I went out as a bunny. The year before, a cat. I always dress up as animals for Halloween because they are cute. :p

I have to decide what to use as a Halloween costume for my SC Halloween set. I might do a couple :p since they are so fun!!
