Birthday and being sick

Post by Missy »

Turned 52 a few days ago. Had a great birthday but now the flu. I think next year I will be ready for 2 weeks off. One week to celebrate and the next one for my winter flu.

Flu shot?? (I apologize if that's a naughty word in this day and age - My sis is one who's totally against any vaccinations)

Last time I got the flu was 1998. I was so sick and never want to go through that again. Started getting the flu shot and have never gotten it again. And that's after babysitting grandkids all these years, and later in life, taking care of parents in nursing homes, places where germs have free reign.
