Re: F1
Big F1 fans here (partner and I) and we were happy with the result.
With all the new changes for next season, it really is a level playing field.

Re: F1
Merry Christmas to you too.
I've noticed you're too far from me in Norfolk. Maybe come the new year we get together to do a shoot.

Re: F1
I’m apprehensive about the new season becoming a bit of a runaway for one team, certainly looking like Mercedes have got a solid car. They might not have built the best car but it only has to be better than everyone else.
Aston Martin will probably be fast but fragile
I hope Williams deliver on their promise
McLaren could easily implode after their recent success
Ferrari are always ready to shoot themselves in the foot
Max will drag that Red Bull around but will the new engine be good
Haas, Alpine will have flashes of speed but not do anything spectacular
RB will do what they usually do, score a few points and be generally unspectacular
I want Audi to succeed, solid and reliable would be a good season
Cadillac just need to get a trouble free season under their belts. Take what they can when the opportunity arises
My main problem with F1 these days is the prohibitive cost of watching races here in the UK. This needs to be looked into as many fans are priced out of enjoying the sport. It will be another year on BBC Sounds for commentary for me

Re: F1
I agree with what you have said 100%
Flavio Briatore said many - many - years ago that a family could spend a hole load of money to attend a GP for a weekend - OR - go for a week's holiday in the Med for the same money and watch it on TV.
The sport - like so many other sports - are now cash-cows.

Re: F1
It's not fun anymore due to these stupid new rules .... drivers can't fully drive anymore ... they have to hold in on the straight to charge the battery .... come on !
Bring back the real race cars !
