SC currently has a size limit on the pics. I can't remember what they are BUT this size is ok and what I'll post beginning with my next update: 2000 x 1330
But I'd still like to see what everyone things on picture size
I like this one even more, the 2000 x 1330, because if I flip it horizontally it fills the entire width of my monitor and I have a huge monitor, 24 inches wide. If you have any horizontal pics in your sets in future updates at this size, that would be awesome to see, and you look fabulous in that pic, by the way.
With the quality of camera today, I think any size over 1800x 1800 is a great size. I post most of mine from 1800mp or 2000mp. Here are a couple that are on my site.
I'd have to agree with every one... bigger in this case is better. It's not hard to get a 10+ megapixel camera these days, and with ever increasing internet speeds, you really don't have the balancing act you did 10+ years ago when SC was new of trying to get around people on dial up (remember that!) of having to wait for what seemed like ages for a pic to download.
Hey Chatty Patty, they're amazing to look at, showing you in all your beauty, but they do take that wee bit longer to load. For someone with a slow broadband speed, you could be looking at 30-60 seconds to view each picture.

The bigger ones look the best to me. Is the new site going to be phone friendly view on phones, I know I look in the mornings on my phone and will relook at updates at night on my laptop
I like the larger photos on a computer screen. When a large photo is viewed smaller it seems to get clearer. When you take small photos and enlarge them full screen they get very blurry and grainy. So I like to send in large photos so when viewed on different size screens and even TV screens they stay clear. Hugs all
All things asside, content and quality matter more than the size though. I know I have seen a number of cellphone pics that came out really good. The biggest thing is to be creative and try to get the best lighting you can!
Yes it does, but isn't it the best, If you get it all. Quality, Size and great content. Look how things have changed over the years. Everything seems to get bigger and better. Hugs
