Some of my fans are so sweet. Yes my birthday is coming up on March 1st. I had put some things I still need for my kitchen on my amazon wishlist ( http://amzn.com/w/9QBC4TPQX6Q8 ) . My 2 cup food processor in avocado green (yup, that old) is on it's last legs, and I had a knife set that was around 20 years old. I sent a few guys some hints, but no one had come through for this foodie home-making Goddess. Then I went to pick up my mail and found a slip for a very heavy package. I couldn't wait to open it, LOVE good surprises! When I did, I was THRILLED to find the new carbon blade kitchen block and knife set I had put on my amazon list. Thank you so much to my fan and fellow foodie! They are beautiful knives, but I'm afraid I have to exchange them. I must have gotten a bad set, because they came dull. I couldn't even skin a kiwi, or zucchini! I just finished something special for you, and sent it with the unfortunate email telling you the news. When I DO get them, I'll send you a couple handmade truffles that will get you going.
That is sweet. Gifts are always so nice to receive from our fans. Sometimes a nice surprise helps to brighten our day. And I know it always makes me feel that my fans appreciate the work I put in to my photos which I'm sure all of you will agree with.
