MindySue-
I'm not sure what professional backdrops go for, but if you look around on Craig's list or any o fht other sites, they can be gotten pretty reasonably. Aside from that, just be creative... I know you can do lots of different things outside, or different fun locations. Not sure where you are in PA, but I know there are a few charms in and around there. Granted if your in Erie, it's a bit of a hike to meet one from say Philly. It could be a way to "pool your resources"
just my two cents...
That and welcome to SC! looking forward to seeing more of your pics!

Re: Backgrounds and Cover Photos
I just took a look at your page and it looks like you're off to a great start Mindy Sue. I like just a single color with a graphic for a background makes for a good page. You don't want the backdrop to be too distracting from the main marketing piece...YOU! I won't get to see what mine even looks like until later this week when it finally goes live. I'll keep my fingers crossed for that its a good start too.
Also, for your "socks" category I would look for some toe socks. I have a bunch of silly socks for all sorts of occasions and I even enjoy wearing these "silly" socks as anyone else wears socks. I just think the toe socks add a bit of fun and sexy to them. It also makes wearing sandals fun too.
Welcome and good luck!
