Kirk or Picard?

If it doesn't feel comfortable any place else, try slipping it in here.

Oh and Tom Baker is who I will always think of as the Doctor...I loved that scarf. I started watching when it was only available on PBS and cable TV was barely available anywhere LOL. Though I do appreciate the plot of regeneration and it is a great one!

I won't argue the amazing technological works put into all of the Star Wars movies. I also did not have a problem with the characters. Why I did not enjoy Episodes 1,2 and 3 as much was they were very dragged out in the story line. I felt many places could have been cut without losing the essence of the story. I found sitting through them to be a long afair rather than like Episodes 4,5 and 6 where the movies just flew by. It's just my opinion though. It's one of the things I don't enjoy about most 'chick flicks' or dramas, too long and drawn out.

I'll be really controversial and say Kirk, but NEW Kirk from the new franchise. He's awesome.

@redstripe Jeans AND Dr Who? You just get cooler and cooler.

Matt Smith is the best Doctor since Tom Baker, and may even surpass him this year.

The reason I don't enjoy episodes 1-3 as much is that you don't have the same kid of character unit that were in episodes 4-6. There's no Han Solo, Leia and Luke type of bond or chemistry in the prequels. Yeah, they looked great, and the CGI was outstanding, but the characters just weren't as likeable as the heroes from the original trilogy.

Picard Obiously, thats if your taking about Origional Series ST Kirk, and to be honest even though I love the new film Picard will always be my Camptain or the Enerprise, it like Dr.Who, we all have 'Our' Dr.who, which is the one you saw on TV once a week, not always behind the Sofa. (erm. Peter Davison)

So Picard

Seriously I'm a TNG fan but you can't beat the original series, hammy acting , rubbish sets but so groundbreaking!
