Would love to meet a charm (or charms)...

I have been visiting Southern Charms for MANY years, and I have at least two active memberships per month. And I would really like to meet a charm in person. I live in the northeastern U.S. and I wanted to ask how I can find out if there are going to be any bashes/meet and greets in my area.

And if there aren't going to be any, then are there any charms that would be willing to meet a fan? I'm not talking about meeting in a hotel room to have sex or take pics or video. I mean just meeting in a public place, maybe get a drink, sign an autograph...etc. Bring your husband, bring your boyfriend, bring your bodyguard. Or bring all three if you'd like. Not that I would expect anyone to believe me, but I'm not a rapist or murderer. I'm just a regular guy, with a dream. A dream to meet and shake the hand of a woman that I've pleasured myself to her photos. lol

But seriously, its an item on my bucket list and I figured I'd throw it out there.

I am not sure what part of the Northeastern US you are in, but I do meet fans for lunch/dinner if you even hop over to Ontario, Canada. I don't cross the border though.

That is unfortunate, but she may have acted that way because she was caught off guard and didn't know how to respond. Most of us do porn in a private, secret life and its vary rare that we are recognized or approached in public. It can even be scary, especially if it was the first time she's been recognized. I'll bet she's probably thought about the encounter many times since and wished she'd reacted differently.

I have been approached in public a few times. It can be awkward if I'm with friends or family who don't know about my site. Speaking to all fans, if you ever encounter a charm in public and would like to say hi, you should always try to do so discreetly if she is with others... but then again, if she's alone be careful not to make her feel like you're going to follow her into an alley lol... you may end up with a face full of pepper spray! Just always be polite and friendly, and try not to be overbearing. Remember, we girls are NEVER in porn mode when we're at the grocery store or on a family vacation.

I often Tweet when I'm at a festival or hanging out around town and invite people to come say "hi" if they see me. As long as I'm not with someone who's in the dark about my secret life, I'm always happy to give out autographs, a hug, or even snap a photo with any fan who approaches me. Being recognized in public was scary at first, but now I find it exhilarating and extremely flattering

Oh my... well that is not "charm"-ing behavior at all! I'm so sorry she treated you that way and embarrassed for her bad behavior. Being beautiful in photos is one thing, but personality goes a long way. In my opinion, the full package: charm, class, good manners, intelligence and good social skills along with a killer smile are what really make a woman beautiful.

I agree with you one hundred percent. That is one reason I love this board. The charms here understand. They are friendly. They interact with us fans. The next time I meet a charm I hope it goes way better than my last time.

Approaching me anywhere will never get you ignored. Though I would much appreciate hearing "I really enjoy your pictures" without a site being named. I also do nature photography so if I am with someone who doesn't know what I do or is too small minded to be able to handle what I do, I can still safely talk by referencing those pictures rather than my SC site. Some people are small minded and just can't handle the discussion of porn, even though they know what I do. And let's face it, most parents while they may know, do not want to hear about it.

I'd love to casually bump into a fan. Though, once I got an email from someone describing how they saw me at the laundromat and didn't say high but thought I was stunning. I was taken back because I hadn't been to one and all I could think of was that some random girl was being oogled and she probably thought it was creepy.. Though I'm sure the guy didn't feel any better after I told him it wasn't me! I wished he had said hi to the girl so she would say that he had the wrong girl. I especially wish he had said hi because if it was me I'd MUCH rather have someone say hi to me in public than email me later. Personally I'd feel a little weirded out that I was stared at but not spoken to.. But I suppose that DOES depend on the situation. Also my personal opinion.

The first time I was recognized was a bit of a shock because I am currently living in a small town. I got an email after having my site up for two months saying I looked good at the grocery store in my denim skirt

Once I got to thinking, it's actually pretty awesome! I get emails from guys around Humboldt County all the time telling me they've seen me out and about I've also had random guys buy "Wendy" coffee a few times when we've been waiting in line together, and one guy gave me a flower he picked from somebody's garden... lol

I don't think I'd ever set it up to meet a fan, but I definitely don't mind subtle interactions like these. Never did anybody say anything grotesque, or bring up my site. Just saying "Hi Wendy!", is enough to let me know how you've recognized me

I wouldn't have a problem running into a fan and have them say hi. I would hope they would be discreet about how they knew me if I was with someone though due to many people, including my family, are clueless to this part of my life and I prefer to keep it that way. Otherwise, I'd be happy to talk for a moment or two. Afterall, without our fans, there would be no need for our sites.

Other than friends and some family finding out about my site I've never had a fan come say hi. I'd love to meet my fans out and about but seems like thats not going to happen (of course I'd have to go out more lol) The first time I was "found out" it really creped me out (hubby's uncle) but after thinkin and talkin about it I've become pretty cool with it.

I think this is something that is at some point or another in every charms mind. I myself have come to comfort with what i do and while family and even close friends are in the dark about my site appreciate my fans and realize at some point it probably will happen and am welcoming to any fans or members who want to discreetly and respectfully say hi. Heck i'd happily give an autograph, or click a pic, and shoot the breeze for a few mintues or so. As lace stated just don't come off as someone who's going to back you into an alley or a corner, or follow a girl around lol. But i think it'd be exciting to have someone who appriciates a girls beauty let her know.

These are exactly the type of encounters that I would love to have with Charms. Just casual meetings, saying hello and maybe having a pic taken with said Charm (present company permitting). Or even buying a lady a beer/coffe/mixed drink of choice. I'm a realist, and I understand that certain precautions need to be taken and I realize that a chance encounter with a Charm is about as likely as winning the Mega Millions. But, I don't know....I just think it would be really cool and its something that I want to do.

This turned out to be a pretty cool thread. Who else has met a Charm outside of a meet and greet or a photo shoot? Tell me your stories so that I may live vicariously through you.

Sadly, for where I live, the odds on a chance meeting with a Charm are very long indeed. The last Scottish Charm that I know of left SC around 4 years ago.

I've met several and have been lucky enought to get together with a few to be in sets with them. Of course, the ones I met with I became friends with after membership and pretty steady chatting and developing a friendship and trust and I can say those charms are among the nicest ladies I've ever met. I still stay in touch very often with one and do hope to meet and do future guest sets if the chance opens and the situation is right. The charms are the most gorgeous lot that you'll ever find!

so blymike you never did say what part of the northeastern usa you are from. It is nice when fans realize and understand that if we decide to have our husband or bodyguard with us its for our safety. I ran into a fan when i was sicker than a dog at i think a rite aid and he just stared at me and didn't say anything but then i got an email and I was like OMG! lol I don't have a problem meeting fans at all as long as they respect my privacy
