My faithful follower, my friend

Post by martastyle »

I think I was discussing this with some of you a few months ago.
Have you ever had a close friendship with any of your followers? Fortunately, I can say that I have good friends thanks to SC.
I say this because, possibly, the fan who has worried the most about me and wanted to take care of me the most, I think, has passed away. I haven't heard from him for a few months. He was going through a bad time due to chemotherapy treatment and I could see how his strength was failing.
On Christmas Eve I wrote to him again. I told him that he had left a great void in my heart and that without a doubt, he had been the best follower I had ever had, a friend with whom I could talk about everything from a distance.
It was a very sad moment for me. I know that he won't answer me, but oh well. I just hope that if there is someone from the family who reads his email, they will give me news of him.

If you know his name and place of residence, you may be able to look through obituaries online. I found out about "Lou" a longtime member of mine that way when I didn't hear from him for a week. He had passed away two days after he last wrote me. I'm sure his hotmail box has been deleted for inactivity by now, and I still wonder what happened to him. He was an older man, so probably a heart attack or stroke. :-(
