You know it wouldn't be so bad if they weren't so blatant!! A little note here or there could be ignored but when it's so obviously off subject, doesn't relate to the sexy women here or they drop a note in EVERY single topic colum, they just need a good workin' over!!

Thes spammers aer really getting on my chuds now. Is there not a way we can stop them from signing up? Maybe putting in one of those boxes where you have to type two words exactly as they're written above or something.

I emailed Lord Hardcore about putting a captcha in (that's the number/letter boxes) a while ago but he hasn't gotten back to me yet. Hopefully that's up and running soon.

I ban them when I see them. But I don't have any way to see their IP addresses or anything so I can't stop them from making another account.

The catcha is not likely to stop the problem as most aren't bots. They are people just copying and pasting. You can tell by the pattern of the messages. I wish we could block people from adding links to their messages until they have posted 10 times. It would make it slightly harder for spammers as they'd have to make sure they posted decent messages first before being allowed to add links into their messages. I know some boards do this.

Its 930pm here and I just deleted 6 post and banned the poster

We easily remove at least 30-50 spam posts a day. It sucks but what can we do?

Has anyone else noticed that the one thread the spammers seem to avoid is the "Spammer" thread?

They hit it tonight around 8 but me and my trusty little clicking finger took care of em. They are like the neighbor bringing their dog to visit and the dog shits in your living room floor, wish I could rub their nose in it take a newspaper to their ass, so I just threw them out instead.
